If you are driving from Rio de Janeiro International Airport:

• You have to take "Linha Vermelha" (Red Line Highway), which is a small highway, towards the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, the noble part of Rio de Janeiro.
• Follow the signs right through to Copacabana (famous district of Rio de Janeiro that surrounds the sea.), with green boards in the way
• Keep the ocean on your left as you go. You will pass by the Docs, Rio de Janeiro Downtown (on the right). Continue through Flamengo's Park, Sugar Loaf Mountain (on the left) and you wil finally reach Copacabana after going through two short tunnels
• Keep going until you get to the Atlantica Avenue (turn right at the end of Pricesa Isabel Avenue). Keep on Atlantica Avenue and turn right at Av. Rnh. Elizabeth da Bélgica (750 m), turn right at R. Apollo Onze (110 m).
• Keep on Apollo Onze street, which turns slightly left and becomes R. Prudente de Morais (400 m). Turn left at R. Farme de Amoedo, The Ipanema Plaza Hotel is at Farme de Amoedo Street, number 34 - Ipanema District (38 m).
