The Flamengo neighbourhood is renowned for its culture. It is one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Rio de Janeiro, and is next to the city's financial centre. On Sundays and on public holidays, you can enjoy a wonderful time within Flamengo's Park, which is just one block down the street.

Arriving from Rio de Janeiro International Airport, the best option is to take the Linha Vermelha Highway and the Perimetral Freeway.

• Follow the signs to the City Centre. As you reach Flamengo's Park, pay attention on the exit to Flamengo District;
• Continue onto Av. Aterro do Flamengo/Av. Infante Dom Henrique 1.2 km, exit onto Av. Beira Mar 130 m, keep left at the fork to continue toward Praça Paris 250 m;
• Turn left at Praça Paris 89 m, turn left at Av. Augusto Severo 190 m, continue onto Av. Beira Mar 600 m;
• Continue onto Praia do Flamengo 300 m, slight left to stay on Praia do Flamengo 87 m;
• Turn right at R. Correia Dutra 300 m, take the 1st right onto R. do Catete 89 m, take the 1st right onto R. Ferreira Viana;
• Destination will be on the right (Rua Ferreira Viana, 81 - Flamengo).
